Alexa Jane is pictured above ready to step out in her new fashionable baby bottoms compliments of Charlie Banana.

Now I have always been a disposal diaper mama. I had images of my mom soaking cloth diapers in buckets and washing them and the entire process involved and just couldn’t picture that fitting into my life. And at risk of sharing too much information the boys diapers are….well…I will leave that to your imagination. So when Charlie Banana sent me a cloth diaper to try I was leery at best. But I promised I would give it a whirl. I was shocked. First, they are adorable. The colors are bright, the prints are cute, the interiors are soft and lined with organic cotton. The easy snap system allows for an adjustable fit, snug enough even for my skinny mini. The diapers wash and dry well, in fact after a month’s use they still look new.

So a little back-story…after years of research and development, Charlie Banana® an international, luxury brand of modern cloth diapers, was created by Gaëlle Wizenberg. She named the reusable diapers after her daughter, Charlie, whose brother Zachary calls her Charlie Banana. Isn’t that cute?

The Charlie Banana lineup is impressive beginning with their fashion collection by Matthew Langille. They have resuable swim diapers that are a 2 in 1 so they are also a potty training pant. And I hear their feminine pads are awesome. So if that is your thing I highly recommend you check them out.

So Charlie Banana, congrats to you, THE diaper that convinced me to go cloth!

Thanks for sharing how wonderful cloth diapering is! Unfortunately there are a lot of preconceived notions about cloth and if more people would just give it a whirl, they’d see how easy it is!
There is nothing cuter than a baby bum in a cloth diaper!
